Dear Friends,

I am Aarnav Mehta, an 11th grader at Aditya Birla World Academy and I am running this crowdfunding campaign for the Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital in Dharampur.

The hospital provides much-needed treatment to its patients who often hail from remote rural and destitute areas of the surrounding region. Oftentimes, many of these people cannot afford basic healthcare with pregnant mothers having to deliver premature children or elderly patients having to travel great distances to access healthcare.

Yet, the hospital has been very effective in overcoming these deterrents via charitable endeavors such as reaching out to its patients via outreach ambulances and teams every week and provide free and affordable healthcare for all patients regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds.

I had the privilege of working with the hospital for 2 weeks during which I volunteered in outreached services for Adivasi (tribal) villages and helped the teams whilst they examined patients.

One need only look beyond our cities to see how much work needs to be done to uplift all members of our society. Furthermore, I volunteered at the pediatric section of the hospital which provided maternal care for mothers and their ailing children many of whom suffer from anemia and cerebral palsy amongst other conditions which need urgent attention.

In light of this, I urge each and every one of you to contribute to make our nation a better place for everyone!
