Dear Friends,
The world is going through an unprecedented crisis. Millions of people have been impacted - the misery is unthinkable and beyond words. Many humanitarian and social service organizations have stepped up their efforts significantly and we hope that each and every one of them succeed in their endeavors.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC) has launched many initiatives in the US and India, and has touched millions of lives.
In India, the situation is unbelievably dire. Many of daily wage workers are stranded, are without income or savings and cannot feed themselves and their families. SRLC is at the forefront of serving our front liners, migrant workers, daily wage earners, stray animals, reaching remote places where help is hard to get. SRLC is involved in providing 360 degree care to affected people at the grass root level. SRLC is completely volunteer run organization with extremely low overhead cost.
In the US, we have 24 centers across the US who have been able to touch 25,000 lives. 6,000 masks have been distributed, 3,000 hygiene kits have been offered, with over 8,000 lbs. of food donated to local food pantries. Volunteers conducted a motorcade to celebrate our superheroes, our front liners, and donate PPE, equipment, and supplies to these front liners.
I humbly request you to join us in this effort to help as many people as we possibly can and become part of this movement to serve selflessly and bring a smile on someone’s face. Your generous donation will help our SRLC volunteers provide various kinds of support directly to those in need on the ground.
