As you might know, we volunteer for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care USA(SRLC - USA), which is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Our Daughter Kripa really wants to help the underprivileged and the animals and has decided to raise funds for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Relief Initiatives by Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.



As we stay safe in the comfort of our home, many people are struggling to meet their basic needs during these times of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

In response to COVID - 19 crisis, SRLC has launched many initiatives in the US and India, and helped those who have lost jobs, health care workers, migrant workers, daily wagers, stranded animals and anyone affected by the crisis.

In response to COVID-19 crisis, SRLC has launched many initiatives in the US and India, and helped those who have lost jobs, health care workers, migrant workers, daily wagers, stranded animals and anyone affected by the crisis.

To date, we have served 1.5 million meals, distributed 230,000 daily essentials and food items, distributed 3,400 PPE kits, trained 150 medical professionals in the proper use of ventilators, and so much more. While these numbers alone are impressive, what is truly incredible are the lives we have touched in the process


As much as COVID-19 is a health crisis, it is also a humanitarian crisis, asymmetrically affecting people in the lower strata of the society.

IN INDIA:

In India, the situation is unbelievably dire. Daily wage workers, many of whom are stranded, are without an income or savings and cannot feed themselves, let alone their families. They have nowhere to go. SRLC responded with grassroot level "Circle of Love and Care" initiative by connecting micro contributions in terms of food to migrant workers. Total of 300,000 nutritious thepla's (Turmeric Indian flatbread) were distributed in just 5 days.


Not only that, but SR Love and Care is trying to stop this whole vicious cycle by generating means of employment. Over the course of the last two months, SR Love and Care has hired 80 women (with a goal to hire 200 women) giving them financial independence and social acceptance. These women have helped in the battle against coronavirus by stitching handmade masks from home.

IN USA:
Here in the US, we have 24 centers across the US who have been able to touch 25,000 lives. 6,000 masks have been distributed, 3,000 hygiene kits have been offered, with over 8,000 lbs of food donated to local food pantries. Volunteers conducted a motorcade to celebrate our superheroes, our frontliners, and donate PPE, equipment, and supplies to these frontliners.
