Taking learning beyond classrooms, this retreat brought together play, reflection, and shared experiences to build life skills and focus among students.
Over 700 students from Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre, Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyavihar, and Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul gathered at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur for their first retreat of 2026, setting a thoughtful and energising tone for the year ahead.
The two-day event offered a thoughtfully curated blend of physical activity, creative expression, and reflective learning. The students enjoyed an energising cardio session, followed by an Ashram-wide treasure hunt that encouraged teamwork and creative problem-solving. Sessions such as ‘Art of Thankful Living’, mental maths, and learning through games helped students engage with life skills in an interactive format. The ‘Canvas of Care’ art workshop – organised by Ms. Shaili Shah, Owner and Founder, Crestar Studio – allowed participants to explore the importance of gratitude and compassion.
A wide range of sports such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabbadi, and fun activities including face painting, bracelet making, bookmark making, and star gazing promoted camaraderie and physical well-being. A session of bhajan clubbing by the MH 15 band added a joyful cultural dimension.
The retreat offered students space to reconnect, recharge, and begin the year with renewed focus and purpose!
