Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Humanitarian Care programme has been steadfast in providing relief to the marginalised communities across the globe. As a part of this noble intent, it strives to provide essential monsoon relief material to the less-privileged people. This monsoon, volunteers distributed talpatris (plastic tarpaulins), benefiting close to 1000 individuals across Dharampur and the interior villages of Kalyan, Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Palghar districts in Maharashtra, including a rural school.
Talpatris are essential during monsoons as they act as makeshift roofs or ground sheets, shielding homes and belongings from rainwater, especially in underserved and flood-prone areas. This timely initiative aims to offer basic shelter and preserve dignity amidst harsh weather. Through this distribution drive, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care reinforced its commitment to serving vulnerable communities to help them overcome the vagaries of nature.
