‘Gujarati Bhasha Abhivyakti’ Seminar organised at Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul

On Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul, Karanjveri, organised a seminar titled ‘Gujarati Bhasha Abhivyakti’ with the primary objective of raising awareness about the Gujarati language and its diverse expressions. The event aimed to enhance the writing and communication skills of students of 9th and 11th grade, ultimately assisting them in their examinations.

The seminar commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony, symbolising the enlightening of minds through knowledge. Mr. Maganbhai Patel, a long-time benefactor, and former Principal of Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul, introduced the esteemed guests, while Principal Mr. Samir Ajmeri welcomed everyone with flower bouquets. The guest speaker, Mr. Ghanshyambhai Vanani, Principal of Shri Ishvarchandra Vidyasagar Primary School, Surat; addressed the students. Mr. Vanani highlighted the various aspects of the Gujarati language with linguistic variations in neighboring villages. During his address, Mr. Vanani provided valuable insights into writing techniques, such as the Inductive-Deductive method, word-building in poems, and the importance of continuous reading in daily life to strengthen vocabulary. He recommended the book ‘Just ek minute’ and encouraged students to explore the literature of Father Valles, a renowned author in Gujarati Literature.

Ms. Sheetal Dodiya concluded the seminar by expressing gratitude to the esteemed guest, Mr. Ghanshyam Vanani, Mr. Maganbhai Patel, and the principal. The students acknowledged the seminar’s contribution in enhancing their understanding of the nuances of Gujarati language for improving their writing skills.
