Lighting lives at Smt. Kumudben Dwarakadas Vora Industrial Home for Blind Women:
Volunteers visited Kumudben Dwarakadas Vora Industrial Home for Blind women. The event commenced with a prayer and lively dance performances to garba songs. Volunteers facilitated love meditation and meditation for releasing anger. Anila Gada, a certified life coach, did pranic healing for all residents. The festivities concluded with a celebration and the distribution of thandai to all participants.
Spending quality time at Manusmruti Senior Citizen Home:
Another group of volunteers visited Manusmruti Home, an old age home. The event began with a prayer, followed by the residents singing and dancing to various songs. They participated in a love meditation, twin heart meditation, and blessing the earth. Pranic healing and positive affirmations were also part of the program, ending with a gratitude prayer.
Celebration at Aadhar Old Age Home by Dahisar Borivali Youth Group (DBYG):
Young volunteers from Dahisar Borivali Youth Group of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, organised a special celebration at Aadhar Old Age Home. The event started with prayers and a yoga session, including Pranayam, chair yoga asanas, and laughter therapy. Activities such as a thumbprint project, creating a family tree, and the distribution of lemonade were conducted. The sevaks gave roses to all residents, cut a cake, and made them feel very special. The Trustee of the organisation, appreciated their efforts and awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.
Lifting spirits at Rajawadi Government Hospital:
Young volunteers from Ghatkopar Youth Group (GYG) of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, visited Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar. They distributed fruits, played, danced, and interacted with the kids. Activities like coloring with crayons and fun with numbers, fruits, and animals; creatively engaged them. A volunteer dressed as Mickey Mouse, to cheer them up, while some narrated stories and offered wellness cards to the patients. The event was successful in offering emotional support to strengthen the mental well-being of the patients.
Healing kids at Gurukul Centre for Special Children:
Volunteers visited Gurukul Centre for Special Children in Ghatkopar. The event featured an Access Consciousness Bars therapy session. It was a great way to address different aspects of life through gentle touching of 32 points on the head; to release suppressed thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Additionally, a special session on pranic healing and twin heart meditation was conducted. The event concluded with a soulful song to foster a feeling of gratitude.
The diverse activities, including meditative practices, entertainment, educational initiatives, and therapeutic sessions, all aimed at spreading smiles and making a positive impact on over 250 lives.
