NSS Annual Camp Report - Academic Year 2023-24

Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, Dharampur, recently organised NSS Annual Camp at Pu. Mota High School Maani.

Theme: Cleanliness, Health, Public Awareness, and Child Development

Day 1:

With excitement in hearts, students arrived at camp site. Groups and committees were formed for
various activities during the camp. A soulful meditation session helped them feel centred and at peace.

Day 2:

  • The day began with prayers and yoga session emphasising the importance of yoga education.
  • Inauguration ceremony with esteemed guests including Dr. Anil Goel, Mr. Balaji Raje, Mr. Dharmendra Solanki, Mrs. Smita Vyas, Dr. Smita Bakshi, Dr. Milan Chandarana, and Dr. Swati Joshi.
  • Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care gifted 250 blankets to students.
  • NSS volunteers engaged in campus cleaning activities.

Day 3:

  • Students engaged in beautification activities including painting walls, tending to the garden, and Warli painting.
  • Session on women empowerment for 9th and 11th standard students.
  • Lecture on youth by Dr. Vivek sir.
  • NSS volunteers conducted a village survey, focusing on inviting villagers to a medical check-up camp and raising awareness about the social initiatives of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.

Day 4:

  • Free ‘All-disease diagnosis and treatment camp’ in collaboration with Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital.
  • NSS volunteers played a crucial role in translation for villagers.
  • 103 individuals benefited from the health check-up camp.
  • A cultural program was organised featuring Ras Garba with school hostel students and teachers.

Day 5:

  • Rally promoting a plastic-free and deaddiction environment, accompanied by tree plantation.
  • Beautification and cleanliness session was undertaken at the school by all volunteers.

The NSS Annual Camp successfully addressed the themes of cleanliness, health, public awareness, and child development through a series of engaging activities, including educational sessions, cultural programs, and community outreach initiatives. The collaborative efforts of NSS volunteers and the support of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care significantly contributed to the success of the event.
