Pooja Ughade and Archana Jagtap, students of Shrimad Rajchandra Vocational Training Programme took a step towards self-reliance, supporting their family income as an outcome of the course.
They had learnt bag making as part of the stitching course organised at the community centre of Vishwa Balak Kendra, Rabale in Navi Mumbai. During the course, participants were taught how to make a variety of eco-friendly bags. After the course, volunteers helped organise sales orders for them from various companies such as GIA, Taj Sats, etc. as well as from retail shops.
They expressed their gratitude to Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care for playing a role in helping them move towards financial independence and self-reliance.
