Injured after an automobile accident, an 8-month-old male dog named Dhruv was brought to Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home for emergency treatment.
The physical diagnosis revealed a soft lump in the groin region, which the doctors noted as an inguinal hernia – a condition often associated with physical trauma. Hernias can be life-threatening if the surrounding organs get strangled and lose their blood supply, and hence the team performed a corrective surgery. Through the surgery, the veterinarian pushed the bulging tissue back into place and repaired the weakened tissues.
Dhruv has now made a complete recovery and is back to his happy and playful self!
