The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) in Gujarat, a government organisation, has been dedicated to entrepreneurship and skill development since 1979. Their goal is to nurture entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas, fostering economic growth and employment opportunities, including Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes in educational institutions.
CED partnered with Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care to develop entrepreneurial skills in students, women and rural youth through workshops and mentoring budding entrepreneurs in the tribal communities of South Gujarat. The programme witnessed participation from over 180 students from Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth and Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre, followed by a 12-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme for 60 students, featuring industry expert insights on various aspects of setting up enterprises.
