Recently, Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home gave a new lease of life to a 6-year-old stray dog that had developed an unknown sarcoma (cancer) in its leg.
Upon examination, the team noticed that the cancer had been growing since over a year and had already caused severe damage to the leg. Due to this irreparable trauma and the need to prevent it from spreading any further, the medical team suggested amputation of the leg. The surgery was performed carefully and successfully, following which the dog was monitored and nursed to health.
Now, the dog is happily adopted by a loving family in Barsol village, Dharampur, Valsad!
