In Dharampur, a motivational session was organised for 400 tribal women from across 9 villages of South Gujarat under the Consolidated Community Development Programme. The women were inspired by a touching experience sharing by Chief Guest – Police Inspector Smt. H.J. Patel, who shared how she overcame several hurdles to build a successful career. Sangita Patel, a lady Sarpanch of Kaprada taluka, also spoke her leadership journey. Staff from the Government’s Women Helpline (181) and Ministry of Women and Child Development’s ‘Sakhi One Stop Centre’, shared useful tips to combat all types of abuse.
During the event, women were also introduced to the Mission’s various women empowerment initiatives, such as Raj Uphaar, thereby offering them a tangible opportunity for self-development and upliftment.
Such initiatives will be a catalyst for change in the lives of women in need, empowering them with a renewed sense of purpose and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
