Supporting Low-Income Families in Singapore

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, in collaboration with the Anglo American Plc’s ‘Ambassadors for Good (AfG)’ employee volunteering programme, has launched a new project called Wishes@Home to support low-income families in under-served communities in Singapore.

The project aims to provide greater support to families by connecting them with Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s services to address their immediate needs. This includes food supplements, cleaning services for families living in hazardous or unsanitary conditions, and simple recreational items to help improve mental well-being.

The project will run for four months, during which the AfG project team and Singapore centre volunteers will deliver donations to identified families facing difficulties with household necessities. The items distributed will depend on each family’s specific needs, such as groceries, toiletries, diapers, baby milk formula, kitchen appliances, clothing items, and educational materials.
