Distribution of Essentials across the US

1. Winter and other essentials distribution drive in San Francisco

In an effort to prepare the local homeless populations for the upcoming harsh winter season, volunteers of the San Francisco centre distributed school supplies and backpacks for children and some board games for families to enjoy during cozy winter.

2. Appreciation for healthcare heroes

Volunteers of Dallas Centre distributed ‘appreciation kits’ to nurses and other medical practitioners as a mark of respect and gratitude for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. The appreciation kits included stress ball, notepad, sticky notes, protein bars, pens, a ‘Thank You’ card, lip balm and some candies. The nurses felt a sense of joy and positivity through this initiative.

3. Essentials distribution in San Diego for Children

Volunteers of the San Diego Centre distributed children essentials to G’mach San Diego Jewish Gift Closet. G’Mach is a local organisation that collects and distributes daily items to underprivileged families and individuals.

Volunteers, along with friends and neighbours, donated new childcare items such as a car seat, toys, baby carrier belt, blankets, clothes, shoes, milk formula, diapers, wipes, etc.
