At the Global Youth Festival, participants volunteered at a mega multi-speciality medical camp in Dharampur, organised to provide free high-quality healthcare services to people from rural Gujarat.
Doctors from Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre provided treatment across several specialities including cardiology, general surgery, gynaecology, paediatrics, dentistry, etc. Any patients requiring further interventions were referred to Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre for investigation and treatment. The camp also included health awareness sessions, screening for cancer and other diseases and distribution of free medicine and meals to patients. Added attractions were a special Olympics and carnival for differently-abled patients.
The youth helped in various sections of the camp, channelling their compassion into action!
