Environmental Initiatives Undertaken During Global Youth Festival 2022

During the Global Youth Festival 2022, over 3,000 youth from across the world came together to offer selfless service to those in need around the areas of Dharampur!

One such initiative was the installation of economical and sustainable solar bulbs across rural houses that cannot afford or access electricity. The solar bulbs were attached to plastic bottles filled with a mixture of chlorine and bleach to enhance and further focus its light.

Solar panels were also provided, to aid the recharging of the bulbs. These fittings will be extremely helpful to these households for their day-to-day activities such as studying, cooking, cleaning, etc.!
