Blood donation drives and organ donation awareness sessions in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai

Recently, a series of blood donation drives and organ donation awareness sessions were held across corporates and residential societies in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Volunteers visited Chembond Chemicals Ltd., Navi Mumbai, a publicly listed chemical manufacturer as well as the building complexes of Crescent Bay, Parel, Krushal Tower, Chembur, and Marathon Millennium, Mulund to conduct organ donation sessions. Several participants expressed their desire to become organ donors by pledging to donate their organs after death.

Blood donation drives at few of these venues were also undertaken in association with Tata Memorial Hospital.
