Yash Ahir has an incredible story of perseverance and strength. At the age of just 10 months, his parents noticed that he was unable to walk, stand or even crawl without support. Despite undergoing physiotherapy for several years, Yash showed no improvement. At the age of 8, during an orthopaedic camp at Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, Yash was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. After undergoing 3 successful surgeries at the hospital, he was recommended regular physiotherapy.
Now, Yash is in the 9th standard of a local school in Dharampur. He visits the Shrimad Rajchandra Viking Centre almost daily for physiotherapy and is now able to walk alone with the aid of a walker.
