Inauguration of the new 250-bed multi-specialty Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre at Dharampur

On 4th August, 2022, in the divine presence of Pujya Gurudevshri, the inauguration of the new 250-bed multi-specialty Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre at Dharampur was done by Shri Narendrabhai Modi – Hon’ble Prime Minister of India virtually, in the distinguished presence of Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel – Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat and Shri C. R. Patil – Member of Parliament and President – BJP Gujarat State.

Our Departments

Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital strives to provide highly specialised, quality healthcare to the rural population of South Gujarat. Our facilities are among the most modern and comprehensive in the region. These facilities include:

Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery

The department has various experts including Interventional Adult and Paediatric Cardiologists, Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgeons and a Cardiac Rehabilitation Consultant.

Orthopaedics

The orthopaedic department is equipped with the latest cutting-edge technology in terms of equipment, operating rooms, and recovery areas.

Gastroenterology

Gastroenterology is focused on the digestive system and its disorders. The endoscopic unit offers a wide range of procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.

Nephrology

A holistic approach to the treatment of kidney disease is offered by this department. The progression of disease is monitored in a number of ways including imaging and blood tests.

Radiology

Radiology is a branch of medicine that uses imaging technology to diagnose and treat disease. Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre renders few services under radiology.

Paediatrics

One of the primary goals of Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre is to help to continually reduce the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Gujarat. The Hospital has been meeting this goal through the paediatric-focused services and facilities.

Early Intervention Therapies and Procedures

Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre is first-of-its-kind in the state of Gujarat and has been recognised by the Government of India as a ‘Model Centre’.

Adult Physiotherapy

Adult physiotherapy services provided include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation and onco-rehabilitation.

Emergency Casualty

With bedside resuscitation equipment, along with 5 beds and an 18-bed ICU with central oxygen supply, it is well-equipped to perform cardio-respiratory rehabilitation as well as provide quality intensive care.
