Recently, a severely injured parrot was brought to the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home. The parrot displayed clear indications of trauma and was unable to even flap its wings.
An x-ray of the bird showed a fracture in its right wing, and to prevent further blood loss and pain, the team of doctors performed an emergency surgery to insert a pin in the parrot’s wing. After a successful surgery, the parrot was given antibiotics and painkillers to help manage the recovery and prevent infections.
The bird has now recovered and is ready to fly in the skies again!
