Launch of a 2nd Animal Ambulance under Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Helpline

In urban cities, we often come across stray animals and birds in agony but are unable to help them due to want of knowledge or access to right medical facilities. To save the lives of injured stray animals and birds, the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Helpline was launched in December 2015 under the Animal Care programme of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. This service has treated over 9000 stray animals and birds in Mumbai till date.

To cater to the growing need, a second ambulance was inaugurated by the pious hands of Pujya Gurudevshri in Mumbai. Operated by trained medical staff, this ambulance is equipped with a medical kit, food supplies and GPS tracking for real-time monitoring of activities. The service will now be able to attend to more cases and make a larger difference in addressing animal cruelty and treatment of injuries.
