In December 2018, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care had laid the foundation stone of Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home, a dedicated facility within Shrimad Rajchandra Jivamaitridham for providing quality medical care to animals.
Within a short span of time, this medical facility has been established and was recently launched in the pious presence of Pujya Gurudevshri by Shri Vijay Rupani – Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, and Shri Piyush Goyal – Hon’ble Minister of Railways and Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The Nursing Home is well-equipped with modern technology and high-quality facilities, such as two operation theatres for small and large animals, a sonography machine, a mobile x-ray machine, a pathology lab, medical pharmacy etc.
Treating the animals, will be the staff consisting of veterinary doctors as well as professional livestock inspectors. Catering to the increasing demand for medical care for animals in rural South Gujarat, the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home is expected to treat over 25,000 animals and birds annually! Moreover, all treatment will be provided free or at highly subsidised costs to farmers and animal owners. The new Animal Nursing Home will serve as a ray of hope for animals and will change the landscape of medical care for them!
