SRLC Manchester organized an elderly visit to Manchester Cathedral under its community care program. The SRLC team and Elderly participants were warmly welcomed and enjoyed learning about Christian faith, structure of church and its history, Yoga activities, Networking opportunities along with Jain food arranged there. SRMD also donated £101 to the Cathedral. The Dean was very pleased to see a Jain Community visit for the first time.
Volunteers from Muscat centre organised a special visit to the pediatric wards of Royal Hospital, Bausher. Volunteers brought smiles on the faces of the children by dressing in colourful mascots of animals and cartoon characters, and dancing and playing games and distributing gifts to them. This initiative filled the hearts of the children and their parents with moments of joy and excitement and was appreciated by the hospital staff as well.
