Volunteers of Toronto centre celebrated Fenbruary 29, 2020 (the leap day) in a very special way! They visited the Hawthorne Place Care Centre, a nursing home for those suffering from chronic medical conditions, and spent quality time with the residents. The day’s programme included guided meditation, spirited rounds of bingo along with a delicious meal for all the residents.
In another initiative, youth volunteers distributed winter care packages to the homeless and needy. Offering warmth and respite against the biting cold of Toronto, these essentials enveloped them with love and care. Volunteers in Houston also prepared and distributed snack packs and survival kits to the needy people.
Leaving behind a trail of happy faces and smiling eyes, these initiatives continue to spread hope in the lives of those in need!
