Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care joined the season’s festivities at Garodia International School, Mumbai, by setting up a vibrant stall at the school’s annual Diwali Fair. The stall featured a special mehendi section, where women from low-income backgrounds, trained in the art of mehendi, offered decorative hand-designs to visitors! Graduates of an advanced mehendi workshop organised under the Humanitarian Care initiative, these women were given a great opportunity to showcase their talent and earn additional income! Several visitors were impressed with their skills, and enquired about booking mehendi orders for the upcoming festive season.
Additionally, the stall exhibited the wide range of healthy snacks, aromatic products, and hand-made utility products made by the rural women of Raj Uphaar. The event, which had over 400 visitors, was a great opportunity to spread awareness of Raj Uphaar and give exposure to the mehendi students of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care!
