Over 170 students of Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul were taken on a day trip to visit the world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya, Gujarat. The excursion was specially designed to guide students through an informative tour of the statue, as well as visit nearby attractions.
The trip started at the iconic Sardar Sarovar Dam, followed by a visit to the Valley of Flowers, a 17km-long flower carpet, that has over one lakh flowers of over 100 varieties. The highlight of the trip was memorable moments spent at the viewing gallery, admiring the 182-metre statue. Students also spent time in the museum, learning more about the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The evening concluded with the majestic light and sound show, which brought the statue to life and depicted Sardar Patel’s immense contribution to the Indian independence movement.
A truly enthralling and unforgettable trip, students returned home with memories they will cherish for a very long time!
